The SMCA Salzburg was awarded with the "European museum price” in 2009. The new concept of revealing an optimal amount of information while at the same time presenting the exhibits in a simple manner, placed high demand on precise and innovative manufacturing. Employing our advanced know-how our team of Auer Vitrinenbau pushed the scope of production feasibility. Each room of the museum surprises with new feats of construction – curved and printed glass components, display cabinets bonded freely onto glass surfaces, inconspicuous and delicate door hinges, near-invisible construction components statically reduced to a minimum, indirect lighting systems in the tightest spaces and directed onto each exhibit.
